This is purely a resource to see what vehicles may use which ECU. We have compiled a list of vehicles and ECU types you can reference here. More information to be added at a later date. We have listed the protocols available below. Will do reading and writing for cars like Pontiac, Saab, Opel, Chevrolet, and others. It can be used on the MED You will need to have access to original files. This allows reading and writing of the ECU and basic diagnostic functions.
There is no reading of the ECU, but once we provide you with the stock file, that can be flashed back to original.īelow are the protocols we support for Lotus. The Lotus iFlash is very special and we are one of the few who have the protocols for it. Where can i watch avlu english subtitlesīasic scan tool functions are enabled as well. It also does the Cayenne platform from For the DFI cars, this will also do the required throttlebody adaption process. You can see what protocols we support below. In addition to the reading and writing tool is a basic diagnostic tool to read and clear trouble codes. Other platforms including the N54 engine vehicles can also be done. All Mini platforms with the supercharged or turbocharged engine can be done. Popular cars such as the M3, M5, M6 can be done with the iFlash. Another bosh ECU system? The speed and simplicity far exceeds all competitors abilities. So just to make sure I have a me7 ecu in my 98 S70 correct? I think the '98s had the bosch 4. At the Volvo shop I work at- we see a fair amount of defective throttle bodies on '99's. The 19T turbo can keep the power and torque curve up higher in the rpm range. Bosch Motronic 1.7 ECU Remap/Flashing Guide (WinOLS) This is on the stock bottome and as well. It so happens my 01 Auto C70 Made whp and ftq on drive by wire. As far as which is better, that's debatable Both cars are equally tunable with lots of people making big numbers from both cars. The engine management of ME7 is actually better than 4. Now there are not any inherent problems with the ME7. The difference is that in MY98 they used ME4. The engine is virtually the same as an R engine is a R, except instead of using 15G's they use a 16T on the T5's, 18T's ont he 98's and 99's and then a 19T on the 00's.
A V70 is basically a with updated body and interior. If not Motec standalone system seems to be the next bet.
They have software that works with me7 to keep all light off as well as offer you toall control of boost, timing, fuel, ect. At the moment the best way to tune is through remapping in the stock ecu as you know. Also me7 pulls timing before boost which of course you can recover timing fast than boost. Boost is best left for the ecu to control. I'm wondering if applcations that they have developed for the VW guys will work for us since all we are doing is changing the mapping on the same ECU Hey, not many people tune me7 cars but all my tuned volvos are me7 cars just because there are advantages but it can be a tad harder to tune. On the diffrent end of the scale form what I've already posted of the s-afc it seems that the VW guys as mentioned somewhere in here have tools like Lemmiwinks. The document posted in the post above will help a lot and the forum has enough info to help you if you get stuck.
I don't want a free file to use just for analysis. Or possibly a well tuned file i can use for comparison. I have tuned lots of diesel engines but have very little knowledge of petrol ecus and was hoping someone could point me in the direction of a good guide which can show me what maps should be edited and in which way ie torque limit smoke limit etc. Thread Rating: 1 Vote s - 4 Average 1 2 3 4 5.
